Celebrating Christ through Conference

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. That's a long, fancy way of saying that Jesus is my best friend and I'm trying to get to know Him better so I can become more like Him.

Every year, the church has a world-wide conference broadcasted to talk about how we can become our best selves by becoming more like Christ. General Conference, as we call it, is a time for us to gather together with friends, family, and loved ones to reignite our faith in Christ. If Conference weekend was a holiday, it'd be my favorite! Especially because it comes twice per year--once in April, and again in October!

This year, I have doing a paint by number of Jesus while I listen. It's definitely a work in progress, but it's getting exciting and helping me listen closer to the advice of the speakers (leaders of the church).

Do you listen to General Conference?
