It feels like hope

This week we learned of a newborn in need of a family. The call was completely unexpected. We had considered fostering, but currently live in a one bedroom apartment, so it wasn't a possibility. We've never been able to stay pregnant, so I was honestly starting to feel a little bitter and was convinced we'd never be parents. While the newborn has found a home that is suited to its needs, it opened my eyes to the very real possibility of having a child. I don't know how or when, but I definitely want to be more prepared for when it does happen.
